The City Human Resource Management Office (CHRMO), led by Magnolia O. Improgo, CGDH I-HRMO, held the “Women Stories Celebrating Breakthroughs and Applauding Victories” forum on March 20, 2025. Approximately 60 participants from various city offices attended the event, which was part of the 2025 National Women’s Month celebration. Three female speakers were invited to this event. Each shared their individual experiences, challenges, triumphs, and discoveries. Ms. Eileen O. Gamo, the first speaker, reflected on how her achievements were intertwined with lost family moments, a realization she wished she had understood earlier.

The second speaker, Dr. Melirose Deticio from the City Health Office, spoke about her hardships, which motivated her to increase her dedication to helping others and to maintain her faith throughout life’s challenges. The third speaker, Ms. Ryndell Maglipong, a successful entrepreneur, emphasized that with persistence and a resilient approach to life, anything is attainable.
